Catharine Slater Crawford also drafts and reviews contracts and manages disputes between the landlord and tenant.  In addition, Catharine litigates the dispute when necessary, including but not limited to the filing of a Summons for Unlawful Detainer, enforcement of possession through eviction, and the collection of any money judgment.  

We recognize that no matter how much our clients prepare for the future, the unexpected can happen.  When our clients suffer injuries due to a car accident or other incident that was not their fault, we protect their rights and seek monetary damages against the party or company at fault.  We understand that the financial impact of unexpected medical bills can be stressful.  We negotiate with the insurance company on our clients' behalf and when necessary, take the case to trial. We believe the responsible party should pay for our clients' injuries and work very hard to make that become a reality.

The current state of our economy has caused an increase in the number of potential debt collection claims for our clients.  For many of our clients, this is the first time they have had an issue with a consumer failing to fulfill their financial obligations. We carefully navigate our clients through the debt collection process.  If we are unable to settle the dispute amicably, we proceed forward with the enforcement of the debt.
